I like to populate spaces with a menagerie of animal or half-animal creatures and they often have their roots in familiar archetypes from Fairy Tales or from a mythological and nostalgic past. I love folklore and objects which have totemic or magical connotations.

I have become interested lately in making ‘Shamanic’ creatures. They are very much a product of the time I spend in Norway.
